AI assistants
Give AI assistants something they can read: your products, rates and locations
A credit union or a community bank gets its products, rates and locations in front of AI assistants by publishing them in a form an AI assistant can read: structured data on its pages, an llms.txt file and an MCP server that AI agents can ask. The Finalytics platform builds all three from your pages, locations and public rates. Nothing is published until a person approves it.
What can an AI assistant read about a credit union today?
A credit union website is written for people: a rate in a table, a branch on a map, a product in a paragraph. An AI reader has to infer the facts from the page. Three forms make them plain.
Structured data, New
Markup on your pages that names what each one is about: a product, a rate, a location, a question and its answer.
An llms.txt file, New
A plain text file at the root of your site, written for AI readers: what the site is, and its pages, products, rates and locations, each with a link. A second file, llms-full.txt, carries the full text.
An MCP server, New
A server that AI agents can ask for your products, rates and locations, in a form they understand.
From your pages, locations and public rates, the platform builds what an AI assistant can read.
Where do the rates in those files come from?, New
You enter your rates in one place. Through one rates API, a change shows everywhere on your site, and the rates in the files for AI assistants are updated from the rates you enter.
- A rate change can be scheduled
- A set is published with a confirm step, and can be compared with the last and reverted
- A view of published rates by product, beside credit union and bank averages, with history
Never set by Finalytics: a rate, a term or who may apply.
Who approves what is published?
Nothing is published until a person approves it.
- A set is published with a confirm step, and can be compared with the last and reverted
Never sent out: a rate that is not public, or an application, sign-in or search page.
How do you know what AI assistants send you?
- New: Reporting counts AI assistants as a source of their own
- Next: Checks on whether AI assistants read your files and name you in their answers
What an AI assistant reads, and whether it names you, is not in anyone’s control. The platform gives it something to read, and reporting shows what arrives.
What happens when the visitor arrives?, Next
A visitor an AI assistant sent has already asked their question. The page would answer it: today’s rate, the nearest branch and a way to apply. See this visitor
Questions
What is an llms.txt file?
A plain text file at the root of a website, written for AI readers. It says what the site is and lists its pages, products, rates and locations, each with a link. This site has one at finalytics.ai/llms.txt.
Should a credit union website have an llms.txt file?
It gives an AI reader a map it would otherwise have to infer. It should carry only what is public, and it should be kept in step with the site: a rate in the file that no longer matches the page is worse than no file. In the Finalytics platform the rates in the files for AI assistants are updated from the rates you enter.
What is an MCP server, for a credit union?
A server that an AI agent can ask a question of, in a form it understands: here, your products, rates and locations. Nothing is published to it until a person approves it.
Does this change the pages our visitors see?
No. It adds markup to your pages and files beside them. Never set by Finalytics: a rate, a term or who may apply.
Is this part of the platform live?
It is new in the platform. No case study reports on it yet, and this page makes no claim about what any AI assistant says.
Does it work for a community bank?
Yes. The platform is built for credit unions and community banks, and the files are built the same way from a bank’s pages, locations and public rates.
